In the Mind of an ex Abuser

This project was raised against gender-based violence; it depicts a man looking in different directions: downward to forward (looking back into his past), forward to left (looking at how things were), the camera tilts and shows him looking from right to forward (looking at how he was, then panning forward to what he currently is), and in the last shot, he looks forward to upwards (looking at how he wants to be). The story that is being told is about a man who grew up in an abusive household and could not do anything to help his mother as she got abused. As he grew up, he became what he saw as a child: abusive and manipulative. It then switches to where he gets to a point where he realizes that what he is doing is wrong and that he needs to change, to where he can become a better father to his child and a better husband to his wife.

Our project for the Loeries Awards may not have snagged any shiny trophies, but let me tell you, the mere act of tossing our creative hats into the ring was a victory in itself. Crafting that entry was like whipping up a culinary masterpiece the anticipation, the nerves, and the hope of a sweet victory made it all worthwhile. Sure, the judges didn't hand us a gold star this time, but the grind and the hustle to put together that submission stirred up a fresh pot of motivation. It's like planting seeds  you might not see the blooms immediately, but the act of sowing promises a harvest down the line. So, despite the lack of hardware, we're still rolling up our sleeves, sketching new ideas, and diving into the next design adventure with a grin on our faces. The Loeries might not be our stage this time, but the show must go on, and we're ready for the encore!
